I used to post to this list a lot, too much perhaps. 
After an extended and fruitless couple months, I've
decided to re-connect.

Actually, I was skipping through the archives and saw
Tyne's call for magical ingredients.  I whipped off a
message a couple minutes ago and then looked down at
the clock on my computer.  Crap.

Anyway, I ran across a neat little article in the
Fortean Times online which might spark the interest of
anyone needing inspiration for "how to have fun with a
cult."

It's about the "Daughters of Ummo," a South American
spiritualist/ufo cabal with a charismatic (and, in the
article, much maligned) female leader.  It might be
fun to work some of the antics listed in the article
for a clueless cabal (or even for the Cult of the
Naked Goddess in a more intense game.)
