[UA] Predation

I actually pitched a UA/V:tM crossover to Justin Achilli. It would be two
separate adventures, but using the same characters and resources.

THE V:TM ADVENTURE: A powerful ghoul* and his followers have kidnapped a
vampire and they're down in the sewers with their captive. They plan to
drain him dry in order to transform themselves into vampires. (It's
doubtful whether this will work, but you never know.) The local boss
vampire sends the PCs down in a rescue attempt.

The twist is that said ghoul (not being as crafty or "sane" as the typical
vampire) has gotten the attention of a gang of would-be vampire hunters.
They're clueless dingbats, apparently inspired by some stupid game called
"Unknwon Armies". So the PCs not only have to rescue the other vampire and
ice the ghouls, they have to do it WITHOUT killing Scooby Doo and Shaggy OR
revealing the true nature of what's going on.

THE UA ADVENTURE: A guy who plays way too much "Vampire: the Masquerade"
has become clued-in to the Invisible Clergy and has decided that, although
vampires aren't real, they COULD be. Someone just needs to Ascend as
Caine, the first vampire. So he and his followers have been trying to
channel "the vampire" -- living nocturnally, shunning the sun and drinking
only blood. (Since he's got nutrient deficiencies that are making his gums
shrink, he actually believes his teeth are growing.) They've kidnapped a
descendant of Vlad Tepes and plan to sacrifice him as their Ascension
ritual.

Justin didn't say "no," but it's not something WW would probably do. So
Atlas would need to get a license, and that's probably unlikely. But I
thought it was a cute idea.

*In V:tM, a "ghoul" is someone who drinks the blood of a vampire
voluntarily in exchange for extended life. Vampire blood is incredibly
addictive and makes you all crazy, though.
