Actually, I made it up on the spot. I imagined that the Clio that made it to
the moon was a part of the Nazi 'space force' (Stanoje, how would this
translate into German in the correct context?), who was in essence a
conscientious objector. Perhaps his grandfather was Jewish or a gypsy; it
isn't really important. I needed a German sounding name so I could refer to
'the changing of history' easier, so I named him Mannelhoff - hence the
Mannelhoff Effect.
