I don't know about that. I know a few gardeners and that doesn't seem to
fit them at all. I prefer to base my archetypes on something I see rather
than just the abstract concept. My picks for people who channel the
Gardener are those orchid cultivating freaks. Potheads who are obsessed
with breeding the bud with maximum THC. The people who enter their
watermelons in the county fair.
Historically I see Johnny Appleseed as previously mentioned and George
Washington Carver.
All are focused on one specific plant, either in use or cultivation. The
only one who would extoll the virtues of a hemp rope over a nylon rope is
the guy obsessed with weed. Carver would probably consider the hemp rope
and the nylon rope equal, but consider the possibility of a peanut rope.
