[UA] [UA]Campaign idea (Godlike crossover?)

That is a cool idea, especially since the rule book repeatedly says "you can't change who won World War II" in describing cliomancy. Almost like they were daring you. Now presumably there should be some neo-Nazi occultists or perhaps Karotechia-esque old Nazis also on the trail of the secret. The PCs might make the (very reasonable) decision to cover all this up. The Nazis won't.

OR, what if it wasn't a stowaway cliomancer who changed history, but a mad Nazi? And in fact the Nazis STILL DO rule the world, their death camps are still churning away, etc. We just don't know it.

OR, what if the *entire war* had been erased from people's memories or from history a la Ken Hite's "reality quakes." But because it was such a powerful and important event, memories of it keep leaking through into popular culture. Like the Orson Welles' radio play War of the World, broadcast on December 7, 1941, which briefly convinced thousands of panicky listeners that the Japanese had attacked Pearl Harbor. (Welles' play was of course based on the H.G. Wells novel about a fictional war in Europe near the start of the 20th century.)

ps It sounds like the book you're thinking of is definitely Man in the High Castle by Philip K Dick.
