I think I was mental, yes. It wasn't through a lack of
wanting to sleep, it was that there was always
something going on around me to keep me entertained,
in between leaning up against a wall and losing 15
minutes of time.

Which is why I've always found Oneiromancy one of the
best magic schools for relating to PCs and the proper
mindset that mages have. I think everyone's had
experiences of too little sleep and the resulting
madness that goes along with it. Easy to relate that
to how obsessed mages are. ("You think _you_ were
tired? These people do it every day. For fun. For
profit. For power.")

Not to mention that it's almost funner to get the
charges than to use 'em. That is, if you enjoy hallucinating.
