Okay, I work as a web producer, mostly doing video and audio. But right now I've been tasked to do data entry - lots of it. It's for a interactive program that supposes to tell you what kind of a person you are by what colors you like and dislike. Think astrology, but without all the hard science. So for example, if you're a "blue green black red" (whatever that means) you get this text:
Your attractive, attentive appearance is very alluring. Your puppy-dog eyes express real
concern. You love to be doted on. Your thoughts are about being supported or supporting
others. This makes you a natural in relationships. You have a sincere love for those
around you. This is one of your greatest powers.
<p>
You appear very vulnerable. This gives you the power to be very seductive. Others have
a need to give you whatever you want. The problem is that they do not have a clue about
you, let alone what you really want. Speak up more.
I'm trying to resist the urge to stick in text along the lines of:
You are are a dark, lurking figure. Your mere presence causes others to rear back in lip-curling fear and disgust, especially when the foul cloak of your inky shadow falls across a schoolyard or playground. You will most likely end up dying in a hail of police gunfire or face down in a pool of your own vomitus.
Your lucky numbers are 12, 31, and 10.
Does that make me a bad person?
