If Winged Coyote is right and that IS the Comte's way
of ducking out quietly, I guess it would make sense. 
It's unlikely anyone will seriously probe the issue of
faking your own death on the toilet, but it puts the
comte on the same level as Elvis and that seems just,
sorta, wrong.
