T8 kicks mucho butt, IMO (and I'm not just saying that 'cause I co-wrote
one of the sourcebooks).

Marc-Alex Vezina (head honcho at Dream Pod 9) once said that in an ideal
world, he'd like to write a modern-day game about the coming of the
Z'bri. He stated that it'd be something like CoC, but wit the benefit of
hindsight, I think that it'd more closely fit into UA.

The concept of Ascension doesn't fit T8 too well, but what if the Fold
opened when Something Bad happened to the Count? I can imagine the Sangis
infiltrating the Sect of the Naked Goddess, cliomancers falling to the
Melanis and Flemis, and apocalyptic cabals losing their marbles under
Koleris influence.

Actually, somewhere on my List Of Things To Do One Day is to come up with a
UA/Tribe 8/Gear Krieg/Rifts/(Ian McKellen) Richard III crossover. Every
time I open an RPG book, the ideas get weirder and weirder...

"'Kevin,' David interrupted, 'what the Germans should have done
was show the Russians a dead cat and ask them to explain it.'

"'That would have stopped the Soviet offensive right there,' I said.
"Zhukov would still be trying to account for the cat's death.'"
