I think one of the things that UA2 could do with is more examples of ways in which notches can be lost without recourse to psychotherapy. I think talking to friends could work, along with confronting whatever gave you those notches and overcoming it, or wilfully making an effort to return to a normal life (like the "old" Alexandr in Welter & Waste). Or something.
