It's on my homepage, in the roleplaying section. Just a short idea for a
Mage: The Ascension game I had when I visited Prague with my class in '00. I
posted the idea to the MTA forum on White Wolf's site. I was pretty
surprised by the enthusiastic reactions of the other forum members; the post
generated a large thread with dozens of suggestions for strange events and
encounters in the subway.

What follows is my original post to the forum. I'll put the entire thread on
my homepage sometime today.

---
A while ago I've been on a school trip to Prague. Coming from a rather small
town (~20.000 inhabitants) in Germany, I wasn't really prepared for the
strange experience of riding a subway train. Since then, I've been
fascinated by subways and the strange people you can encounter there. And in
the WOD, it has to be even stranger. Therefore I present to you.

The people you meet and the things you see on the subway (especially
interesting if you're in a foreign country and don't know the local
customs.)

- a Tremere, a Hermetic Mage or a mystically inclined Virtual Adept
searching for hidden kaballistic patterns or other arcane secrets in the
train schedule or the rail network

- alligators or large packs of rats from the sewers

- a Son of Ether with his new Quantum Singularity-powered train; the
passengers don't know that they're part of the field test.

- a vampire who was surprised by the dawn and fell asleep in the railcar;
better let sleeping dogs lie.

- raving lunatics with a strange interest in the PCs

- members of sects looking for donations and new recruits

- investigators of urban legends

- disturbingly accurate fortune-tellers who seem to know a lot more about
the PCs than they should.

- a small group of people dressed in extravagant costumes; just a bunch of
regular humans going to a costume party

- cliques of goths with the odd Hollow One or bloodsucker among them

- a young punk pissing off people and looking for trouble; maybe a Brujah,
maybe just someone with too much free time

- a writer who takes notes about the interesting things he sees during his
late-night train rides; if the PCs act strange enough or do something
supernatural in front of him, he can be sure to write about them in his next
book; considering the secretive habits of most supernatural PCs, this can
lead to all kinds of fun

- a demon on his way home after a long and hard day of work; just wants to
get home to his wife and his little demonspawn

- a Gangrel who claimed this part of the subway network as his hunting
ground; doesn't like it at all when other vamps invade his turf

- a mysterious man in a black suit who follows the PCs from railcar to
railcar; when they try to confront him he is nowhere to be found.

- terrorists who try to hijack a train or place a bomb on it

- adrenaline junkies surfing on the trains

- an overworked cubicle drone; one day he just snaps and systematically
shoots one passenger after the other with his shotgun

- the ghosts of the people who died on the train and now haunt it

- musicians who try to make a little money with their show; could be some
Gypsies or other "modern nomads"

- a well-known movie star trying to stay incognito

- a shaman who enacts a ritual to calm the angered spirits of the subway;
either a Dreamspeaker or a Garou; or maybe just an eccentric, but otherwise
normal mortal

- a Marauder with a "Wild West"-themed Quiet; tries to rob the passengers
together with his cowboy-Hobgoblins

- Enochian graffiti; maybe a spirit staking out his domain

- Bygones living in the subway and hunting for Quintessence

- Skinstealers; humanoid creatures with no own skin; hunt humans and skin
them alive in order to wear their skins

- a sleeping bum covered with newspapers; if the PCs take a closer look they
can see that the date on the newspapers is from the year 2013.
