[UA] Train Guy

Did anybody else read the latest Harpers magazine? It's got this story about 
a guy who got stabbed in the back with scissors when he was a little kid (by 
another little kid), and he got better, but ever since he's been obsessed 
with transit. Started skipping school to hang out in the subway. He's been 
arrested some huge number of times for impersonating a conductor and taking 
over subway cars. Thing is, he kicks ass at conducting trains. Better than 
the guys who are supposed to do it.

I don't even have to say he's an adept.
