The one think that I really like most about UA is that it'S about people.
The good and the bad stems directly from them and does not come from a
Wyrmie-Thingie, Bad old Cain or what-have-you.

It's just people who aim for things, some bad, some good, some hilarous. And
all of them really, really strange - especially those which lack all the
strangeness one suspects.

This is the main reason why UA strikes my chord: There is nothing else
except the human (or in German: Es gibt nichts außer dem Menschen.)

And the other thing is the simplicity of the system. You can play UA with a
dirty mix of experienced and first-time players because they don't have to
memorize tons of stuff. And you can explain 90% of the rules in less than five
minutes... On the other hand, there are some part of the mechanics which I
find strange - for example the whole shift & threshhold stuff seems a bit
random - Some times you have to roll between certain numbers and at other times
your overall chance is just diminished... It's minor but... It is...

And the toolbox system: There's just so much background that I'm really sure
that I' still a long way from running out of ideas for my campain set in
Germany...

Ok, so much for the kudos. John and Greg - and all the others - keep up the
good work...
