RES: [UA] What Archetype would this guy be?

I saw ppl caring blades (even one Katana imitation and a sabre once), but
was good that the LARP GMs could ask polite that they keep the weapons
outside, or be outside. :) And they agree, thanks god (and a few human
factors involved also). Anyway, whats the point to use real stuff in a "make
believe" enviroment. I don't get, but some ppl think is cool to show "his
weapons"...too much hormones from ppl that uses the game to "think
themselves more powerful"? Ok, where is Freud? :)

ABout the avatar...He was guided. By the bible of something, so, no
Masterless Man. Maybe some form of Pilgrim with a mission.

A friend of mine tells the story of a Vampire LARP he participated in, where
some Austrians brought *real*, *loaded* handguns and machine pistols to the
event. They did not intend to use them, but they thought it would be nice
for
the "atmosphere" of the event to have real, functioning props (and that's
Europe
for you, where handguns or anything bigger are not easy to get at all -
those
Austrians bought the weapons in Czecheslowakia (before it spilt up, IIRC)
and
smuggled them over the border themselves. They had *no* permit at all! And
it
was all done just to look cool!).

I've personally saw a couple of times that people bring long knives (of the
bowie and similar kind) to Fantasy LARPs and carry them during the event,
and
I've been witness to one incident where a rules argument between two LARPers
at
a Con turned *so* bad that one of the participants drew a knife (*real*, not
boffer) on the other and had to be - violently - stopped from stabbing that
guy.

We don't need misguided, heavily-armed psychos - they're already among us...

And people ask me how I came to hate LARPing... 8(
	Frank

...who's well aware that the above examples were just unfortunate incidents
and
that most LARP folk are decent people, but who also just returned from the
last
LARP of his life (honest!), where a knife with a 15cm blade was found lying
around at the site of one of the bigger boffer battles - one of the players
had
dropped it - and *that's* something which makes me feel uneasy and unsafe...

...oh yeah, and about that archetype thingie - I dunno, maybe a
spectacularly
unsuccessful avatar of the Masterless Man?
