'Nearly' because of ancient Egypt I presume, where marrying your sister was
ok and even expected as long as you were the pharao.

Any other examples?

BTW, cannibalism doesn't have any icky association with me either. Still,
the phrase 'they taste like biscuits' from a King short story stuck... I'd
reall like to know.

I personally would like to join 'Körperwelten' (body worlds) after death - a
travelling exhibit show where plastinated corpses are arranged in various
poses and states of - well, undress, and I don't mean clothes. For those who
don't know it a google search with the above German term will probably yield
pictures, too. But be warned, not for the faint of heart if you don't want
to see people's insides skillfully arranged.
