Actually, incest is the closest we come to a universal taboo; in other
words, nearly every culture known to Western science considers incest a
serious no-no. Eating people, female rularship and other rare social
deviancy is much more common then incest...
Erm, not that female rularship is bad, it's just very rare in pre-industrial
societes.
