Speaking of *really* UA-able media, the old British show Sapphire and Steel was supposed to be pretty out there. I had heard good things about it, but I've also heard that it's a muddled pile of poo. Has anyone who's seen it care to comment?

Even more, sickeningly, appropriate to UA, Denver Pyle
played Uncle Benay in Disney's "Escape to Witch
Mountain."
That particular slice of traumatic childhood
development featured a long-sought after store front
called the Witch Mountain Co-Operative or some such
dying hippy nonsense. Upon entering the storefront,
while being pursued by police and rabid northern
California rednecks with shotguns, two very psychic
children (sort of like cut-rate Alter Twins) and an
old man with a Winnebago (played by Eddie Albert, who
starred in the movie adaption of Becket's excellent
foolkiller short story), Our Heroes discover no one at
home. Eventually one of the children thinks to pick
up the telephone and someone answers it, giving them
cryptic directions and making esoteric promises.
Also, we can't ignore the Hooterville connection
(which has already been mentioned in this thread.)
I once saw the Salvage One on-line RPG. I wonder if
it was unrelated or Anderson had something to do with
it.
