Hmmm.. by different games, do you mean games you want
to play or games people are willing to play? White
Wolf is very popular here and, if I didn't hate Wwolf,
I'd have lots of games to pick from, too.
In this instance, the problem, once again, is me.
Who's the only person keeping me from having a fun
game? Me. (And possibly Stewart Weick.) Who's the
only person complaining? Me.
Also, my wife says you have a point, but we got into
an argument about it and she stormed out.

It's the coming back part I hadn't heard about.
Usually when I get kicked out, it's for good.
I was gonna suggest it next game, but I got confused
on the last part of your post. Anyone care to skip
down and iron it out?

Well, I don't like your terms ("win-win" has always
hit the wrong buttons with me, as has "professional"
or "quality-added"), but you're right. Most of my
games HAVE been pretty miserable of late. Then again,
this current group has been the only one willing to
let me GM something that wasn't D&D or Wwolfie crap.
Also, I'd rather roleplay badly than not at all. Even
though I'm grateful to have the little bit of gaming I
get in, I'd still like to improve my situation (the
whole gaming schmear, for that matter, could be
better, a little more accepting*. I'd like to have a
hand in that.)

There is no "I" in team.
Sorry. Couldn't resist that one.

Well, of course I don't, but I've got a problem.
I agreed with your ideas (and my wife certainly
agreed, she hates that other guy - but, then again,
several people in the group hate her) until I got to
this last bit. Aren't you advocating "taking your ball
and going home" for a few months in the rest of the
post? Or is it more like "sitting in the punishment
corner" for adults?
*Unless you like White Wolf.
