Its taking my grouo a long time to get comfortable with the idea, although
they were all behind it... Its like pulling teeth getting them to take
action on their own bats, rather than waiting for a "sign from on-high"
that they should do something... But slowly they are being conditioned
that when they do something, they find they are "getting somewhere" and
when they spin their wheels, things become even more frustrating.
I think we condition roleplayers to worship the module a lot of the time,
by discouraging them from walking outside of it. It really takes some
work to free them of that sort of mindset. Personally, as a GM, I'm a lot
happier winging it than working from a script (which will always have to
be modified to fit with the reality of the game as it plays).
