This was all covered very faithfully, locically and factually by Andrew
Collins in his fantastic book "Atlantis: the search for the secrets of a
lost civilization". You can find it on eBay, Amazon or
www.andrewcollins.net.

He logically follows Plato's works and historial records of the time,
discovering new things along the way and uncovering old things (like the
Phonecians actually -did- discover the Azores 2500 years before the
Portugese did) as well.

Very good book. I give it 8.5/10.

I read it as part of my Delta Green research, but with a bit of work it can
be quie UAble.
