I ran a short OTE campaign which started with three of the four PCs dying in the first session. In the second session, they came back as ghosts, as the fourth discovered she was a medium (courtesy of a drug slipped to her during her C&I interview). Or, wait... did I do it where the three dead PCs didn't know they'd been killed? I think that was it. They could talk to one another, and to the medium, but not to anyone else.
Something of that sort might work with UA, but given the nature of ghost/demons in UA, I'd only want to do it as a one-shot. Three demons and one unhappy haunted medium.
