[UA] Road-Trip

Hidey-ho.

I'll be road tripping with a friend next week cross-country from
DC to West Hollywood. He's moving there, and I'm going along as
company and as an alternate driver.

I'm looking for cool, weird, freaky places to visit. I believe
we'll be taking a southerly route. Somebody mentioned Route 40
(nee Route 66). We plan on doing hard driving to OK or TX, then
meandering a bit through the Southwest-- the Painted Desert, the
Petrified Forest, the Grand Canyon. I'm pulling for some CLiff
Dwellings, too.

Anybody know of neat places to check out along the way?
