Mm, but the very nature of "fetish" makes it unlikely that she'd hit that
resonance with a broad public needed to Ascend.  Also, I tend to picture
her in fairly "vanilla" stuff because, if we publish it, it's less
alienating to our core constituency.  Not just in the sense of "eeeew,
porn!" but in the sense of "that's not what I think of when I think of
porn."

I dunno, perhaps my objection is to having her be in anything that
INTERESTING.  I could be wrong, but I suspect that pornography is a field
where novelty is only appreciated up to a point.  People like it BECAUSE
it's predictable.  Like the titles in that bit from Clerks: People buy it
when the title is a simple description of what you're going to see.
("...and two copies of 'Big Black Dicks With Creamy White Come'...")

Titillating banality.  That's the ticket.
