[UA] Occult Hoaxes (old thread with multiple titles--you all know what I'm talking about)

I know other people have read foucault's pendulum here, and I know that was
just a novel.  But when dealing with conspiracy wierdness and when dealing
with occult wierdness, it may be best not to create phony events for fear of
getting wierdos calling you at wierd hours.  

Also, if you start promising money for copies of a movie script for a movie
that doesn't exist, I know people who would make the movie, send you a copy
and start charging money.  If that happens, would you shell out 400 large or
would you take the person to court and testify to committing e-mail fraud?

I don't know about you, but $400 would seriously cut into my hookers and
beer money.
