I didn't think ex-Clergymembers could re-Ascend.  I though that was mentioned in the inital description of the House (but I could be wrong).  In certain ways, it would seem to easy for them to do so (a. they know all about the IC, b. they're fanatically opposed to their old archetype, thus pushing them to ascned as an opposite archetype, etc).
