[UA] (OT) Edible Races

RuneQuest was great for providing lots of interparty
culinary opportunities (especially since I always
played a duck.) It's a fun angle to play, especially
if you encourage players to banter ABOUT eating
eachother in a group while begging them to avoid
actually doing it. My friend, John Williamson, ran a
space game where several of the characters were
delicacies to the other crew and we also did a Cthulhu
Trek game, where mythos servitor races (the Ghouls,
the Deep Ones, the Shuggoths, etc.) replaced all the
standard Star Trek races (and the Prime Directive was
"Do As Thou Wilt," although with more of a noble
anarchy edge.) This is the kind of dynamic that comes
up with a lot of violent or criminal characters in UA
and it has served me well so far. I'm not too proud
to beg.

(PS. Elves annoy me as well, but, then again, I play
hobbits, ducks, gnomes, monkeys, Everyman Heroes and
Avatars of the Fool at every opportunity. I really
can't complain.)
