Hideous, hideous thought:

Il Comte is the First and Last Man, right?

Being the First Man is easy. He comes into being with the Universe. There's
no-one else around, no other humans, so he's first by definition. There's no
competetion from protozoa.

However...being the Last Man is a bit trickier. You can't be the Last Man if
there are other Men still standing. Just because 332 archetypes have gone up
doesn't mean the Count automatically ascends. He's got something to clean up
first....
