Poor Doug.

I ran a similar scenario for Werewolf, in Gaelcon a few years ago. Probably,
er, 1993?

The 5 characters were all splinters of a whole person, elements of her
personality that had split off when she'd been sexually abused by an elder
in the tribe.

In order to come to terms with this abuse, the werewolf in question went on
a visionquest, manifesting these splinters in the spirit world. The setting
was a dreamlike castle, with personalities that represented various players
in her story.

It was a difficult scenario to run. I personally found my players needed
quite a tight plot, which the scenario didn't present. They expected combat,
not mystery. They certainly didn't expect personal reflection and teamwork.

Now, if your scenario was more 'mature', or at least aimed at players who
might enjoy integrating a personality as the plot of a game, you're sorted.

I know at the end of the sceneario, the players mostly shrugged. I don't
think they felt like the meta-plot mattered. So you'd have to address that
and create real emotions in your scenario, and a real sense of catharsis at
the end.

Joe.
