Here is a tentative list :
Mage
Witchcraft<<<
It's odd, but my experiences with Mage just don't gel with UA. Maybe I've
only played high-powered games.
>>>Nephilim
Kult
Call of Cthulhu
Whispering Vault
these enter in the occult category, although magic is not the primary
focus of these games<<<
The primary focus of each of those games (CoC the least) is the existence of
horrifying supernatural entities that could overwhelm humanity, which is at
best a weak race and at worst an accident or experiment.
Mind you, I really enjoy each of them (except Kult, which I've only played
once) but they seem very much divorced from the "humans are powerful and
important" idea that I really enjoy in UA.
Things I've played recently or would leap at a chance to play again include
D&D, Call of Cthulhu, Runequest, Elric!, The Whispering Vault, Nephelim, DC
Heroes, Marvel SAGA, Skyrealms of Jorune, Harn, Mage, Wraith, Changeling,
Everway, and perhaps Talislanta.
