Eh, really I don't have that much of a bias against characters attaining
"killable immortality" -- that is, you're resistant to old age like the
Grail Knights. Attaining Compte-like unkillability is really not much fun,
I'd think. But Dugan Forsythe is a good example. He kicked the crap out
of normal human mortality for a long time.
