Actually, my basic point was to suggest the differences between the Masterless Man and the Rebel.  The Masterlees Man follows the ideals of whatever system he's no longer a part of, while the Rebel tries to change these very ideals and the system that represents them.

The rest is also true, about the MM wishing to be restored to his prior state, just in this case it's being able to follow his beliefs rather than his master.

I'm uncertain about all that about web design, but whatever...
