I'd think that Good in a Crunch would only apply to a
certain type of skill or skill base.

Possibly by stat type (good in a crunch with all body, speed, etc.) but if
it only links to one or two skills it really seems like a waste of a skill.
I took a skill to make myself better at another skill.

Good in a Crunch could never really
be an obsession skill, therefore, because, well,
  wouldn't that be weedy?

I couldn't imagine good in a crunch as an obsession skill anyway. What kind
of guy lies awake at night thinking about kinds of stress he could have and
how he could deal with them. To me that's always been the defining trait of
an obsession skill. Sufficiently abastract skills, I don't think work for
that purpose. Good in a Crunch is sufficiently abstract...

(I'm assuming, of course, that you meant that having
this skill means automatically getting to flip-flop
under pressure. Otherwise, I'm a big doofus.

It should have been that they can flip-flop any result automatically
(without a die roll) if the flip-flopped number came out under their good in
a crunch skill). I didn't want to add another die roll because I feel it
would ruin the elegance of UA one die roll for all issues.
