IMUAC, where Kirlean (sp?) cameras exist (though Lucent Technologys, aka
TNI, own the patents) a survey of Trafalger Square showed approximately 10%
of the population at any one time were registering as Avatars.
During the observation, several of the observed stopped being Avatars,
several new ones appeared.
In game terms, those people were mostly at 1% or 2% in their
Avatar:whatever skill, and were breaking taboo whilst being observed.
And, more importantly, people changed Avatars at times. A friend of mine
will obsess on something for 3-4 weeks, and then change completely.
