And that we remember that kind of thing for the rest of our lives makes me
think that it must be somehow very important in IC terms. Archetypes in the
Invisible Clergy surely come from the totality of human existence.

Come to think of it, 333 is a pretty big number. If we're pushing the 300th
archetype, then the IC must have some pretty odd stuff in there. Not every
archetype can be something impressive like "the mother" or "war".

Maybe there are so many archetypes, including some that incfluence our lives
every day, that just about every human being is an avatar for something.
Maybe I build up my avatar score for the Man Wearing Underwear for weeks at
a time, and then one day I wander around the house naked for a few hours and
break the channel.

This is kinda related to the idea that music is a magical energy that
everybody is so accustomed to that they consider it normal. Possibly just
about everybody has access to some minor channel most of the time, but
doesn't know to distinguish it from some unusual talent or just plain
coincidence.

It would have to take a dedicated effort, conscious or otherwise, to never
break an archetype's taboo, so only particular archetypes receive the
impressive avatars that we see in UA rulebooks. Very few Man Wearing
Underwear avatars get to the more powerful channels, for instance, compared
to the Flying Woman.

Drat, I've just hijacked my own "wonderful Grownup" thread.
