Hmmm.
I set my campaign in Las Vegas because there's a big volume of easily accessible
movies we can watch for visual inspiration. It's the quickest and best way to
disseminate setting info to players without doing a handout. I chose the US for
a similar reason: media exposure. I never thought watching TV would give me some
kind of super-distillation of the American psyche, nor do I think it could; the
US is just -easiest-.

This being said, I'm -still- keen to see the UA City Swap project happen. I've
typed up my home city (it's at http://www.eyeballkid.co.za/unknown.zip ), and
I'd, personally, really like to see other cities made available in the same way.
So, James etc.; why not take this opportunity to put your money where your
mouths are and Oz on the map at the same time? ;)

And my next campaign setting? London's East End. Say it with me, everyone:
