Of course, from here in the U.S. the entirety of the Australian media
seemingly consists of Paul Hogan and the Crocodile Hunter guy, plus a few
movies by Peter Weir. I hear far more about elections in Italy and Japan
than I do elections in Australia, and I try to follow global news on a
pretty regular basis.
