it seems to me that you're basing your bad opinions of lrp games on a couple
of experiences, which seems a bit silly to me. i know quite a few people who
could now be saying "you're better people for not playing RPGs" on a similar
basis. or "you're better people for not using mailing lists" for that matter
:)
i've found lrps to be pretty much the same as tabletop games. the rules and
setting are a big factor but it's down to the GM and players as to whether
it's fun or not. i've been to some ace live games. i've also been to some
dire ones. but i wouldn't dismiss them as a whole.
