anyway, combat in live games can be fantastic. it's one of those things that
makes LRP really dtand out from tabletop. you can have an in-depth
in-character conversation whether you're lrp-ing or tabletop-ing. but i
challenge even the most "immersive" player to claim that they can feel as
surprised/excited/frightened when imagining a fight as when you've actually
got five lunatics running at you with swords    :)
