And I was under the impression she was the main character, at least in
bridal whorehouse and the Bod Couple.  So she would have made the cover (or
the promo posters in adult bookstores or something).  Do I have the wrong
impression?

Yes, but again, the sudden stop in films probably would have increased
popularity, as I noted above, they usually fade away before they disappear,
or are you saying she'd already faded away before her transcendance?  

Amusingly enough I'm probably at this point giving the naked goddess's
career more thought than I have in a year of playing UA...

(Great thought:  let's start a separate group that discusses exclusively the
history of the Naked Goddess's films and career)...
