I hadn't given it a lot of serious thought, but probably 3-4 years.

I get the sense that lots of short-lived porn stars make LOTS of films.  They're just part of the scenery though -- not the "A-List" girls who get on the front of the box.

She is unknown because everyone has mysteriously forgotten her name.  Her old fans (not a HUGE group, but there) remember her... but in the same way that people remember the guy who played Victor Lazlow in "Casablanca" -- not by name but as 'the guy who played Victor Lazlow.' 

(Keep in mind that she's been "off the scene" -- missing, presumed dead by those not In The Know -- for years now, which probably amounts to decades in a porn career.)  

Really as I see it, she started out doing a little bit, worked her way up pretty quick, then fell off, lost her appeal and was increasingly desperate until... POOF!
