[UA] OOC Knowledge and Never saying No

White Wolf games are terrible for this. I play in a UK-wide MET game called UK Masquerade, and the mailing list is often clogged with this kind of thing. However, m character is a harpy (a sort of social commentator person, for those not au fait with the setting) and I and another player have kinda taken on the role of setting police. Hopefully not in a bad way, though. 

Basically, whenever anyone starts sounding off about how the Tremere took out the founder of the Salubri, or this that and the other minor bloodline, we two harpies take the piss out of them. A lot. Because "In Character", all this info on elders and gooby powers is just 'obvious' rubbish. 

To sum up, I find that going "Yeah? And who told you that, then, you gullible little idiot?" is a pretty good IC way of stopping that kind of thing.
