I just think that this is further proof of the
"Reagan-died-in-1982-and-was-replaced-by-a-robot" theory that gets punted
around. He never really talked to reporters (and was famous--almost
revered--for that attribute), had convenient lapses of memory and took
frequent naps. Nowadays, we say, "Tsk. Poor thing...must have been the
onset of Alzheimers." Screw that. His batteries were running low.
