C-urgy is a new and vibrant school of magic. The practitioners use the
"-urgy" suffix instead of the "-mancy" suffix not because they have some
deep connection to elder secrets, but because c-urgy rhymes with theurgy and
that's cool.
c-urgy is postmodern time magic. And before you ask, the c does not stand
for "chrono." It is just c, the constant speed of light in Einstein's
theory. The theory showed how time could be compressed or dilated because
it wasn't really real.
Therin lies the paradox, c-urgists exery power over the real world by
manipulating something that doesn't exist.
Taboo: recognizing an objective measure of time, glancing at a clock to see
what time it is or asking someone for the time will zap all a c-urgist's
mojo. A C-urgist can't get any charges if she wears a watch.
Random magic domain: Time, being on time synchronicity to an extent.
Blast Style: None, but you can make you enemies late for important meetings.
Gain a minor charge: Smash a clock or watch to pieces
Siggy: Do an activity requiring precision timing (like baking a soufle in an
oven with no window) without consulting a timepiece.
Major: Who knows? Nobody's gotten one yet.
Minor effects: Make people early or late for events
Sig effects: synchronicity after a combat or other scene decide how much
time actually passed, Do that pilgrim thing for travelling, etc
Major: Be in two places at once, warp causality
