Funny I wanted to see the movie because of the song (Elevation) which is in 
constant rotation on the pop and rock stations around me.  But as much as I 
like their music, Bono seems to fit the role of too perfect for anyone to 
actually like.

It's more eerie though, since the character of Bono is built around a real 
person, and the only time he is ever seen acting imperfect is when he is The 
Fly or Memphisto which are other personae he has built around the persona he 
normally portrays.  There's just so much artifice that doesn't seem like 
artifice at the time because he does it so well.
