[UA] just plain weird

I had a creepy experience today. There's probably no direct ObUA to it,
but I thought I'd share it with you guys anyway (so? shoot me ;)).

It was late in the afternoon and I had a splitting headache. The best thing
to do was to take a little nap so that my body could get a grip on itself. I
decided 1 hour would do it and went to bed (I don't use alarm clocks - I
always wake up a minute before they go off anyway). I fell asleep very
quickly. After about an hour I had the usual flash of consciousness - "time
to wake up". And then things got really weird. Suddenly there was this
vision/dream in my head or two simultaneous visions/dreams to be exact. In
one I'd open my eyes, roll over to look at the door and see a big, grim
man standing there holding in his hand the nastiest, f***ing axe I've ever
seen. In the other vision/dream I'd do the same but see my dog come into the
room, sit beside my bed and stare at  me. I had the strangest feeling I was
suspended between two realities and had to choose which one I would wake up
to. And for a moment there I actually considered going for the psycho with
the axe just to see what would happen. Then I thought "nah, that's
impossible".

So I wake up, open my eyes, roll over in bed, look at the door. Nothing.
I'm thinking to myself "what the hell did you expect?" and then my dog walks
in, sits beside my bed and starts staring at me.

Creepy.

I wonder. Would I be writting this if I had chosen the other vision? :)
