[UA] Netiquette and holiday mails.

Guys,

in each of Gethryns messages (well, maybe not in each of them) there has 
been the following paragraph:

To subscribe or unsubscribe via the web, visit
	http://lists.uchicago.edu/mailman/listinfo/ua
or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to
	ua-request at lists.uchicago.edu
You can reach the person managing the list at
	ua-admin at lists.uchicago.edu

If there's a problem with the mailing list, then mailing the list to 
complain about it is likely to compound the problem.  Instead, mail the 
administrator of the list, politely, giving them as much information about 
the problem as you can.  Forward one of the problem messages with all 
headers intact, if you can.

That way, you're not adding to the problem unnecessarily, but you are 
giving the person who has the power to fix the problem as much information 
as you can.

Sorry if this comes across as net-cop - it's not meant to be - just trying 
to give some advice born out of sad experience.
