Captain Amazing *is* somebody who channels the hero without believing in the 
archetype. That's a great example.

Mystery Men was a funny film, I thought; but better than that, it had the 
Disco Boys. Man, if I ever become a supervillain, I want disco henchmen.

Mystery men also shows what a versatile actor my countryman Geoffrey Rush 
is. Compare his role as Casanova Frankenstein to his roles in Elizabeth, 
Shine, Shakespeare in Love, and that film that I can't remember the name of 
now.

*ducks bullets on general principles - I'm paranoid now*
