of years old, or physics and astronomy that show that the universe is
somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 billion years old?  All faked by God to
test our faith!

It's one thing to talk about science vs. faith. It's another to mix your 
metaphors. You compare the scientific theory to the ideas of a religious 
organization. This religious organization, to cite most of the evidence, is 
talking smack. One does not judge an entire concept such as faith by the 
standards of one group, just as one does not judge all science by cold 
fusion or the Flat Earth Society or other theories that have been 
disproven.
