I know two types of gamer who would go for this.
The first are masochists/dramamongers who would do it just to put their
character through more trauma. (Most of my friends who are like this are
female, but some guys like to twist their characters into angstballs too.)
The second are people who are really moved and thrilled by horror, both real
and imaginary. Find a good group of CoC players, and they might be happy to
let you drag them through.
