Couple of stories like that in a philosophy text I had in college.
Generally, I think the same is more or less true of adepts in UA (or else I would have stopped responding to the topic rather early). Their very basic philosophic foundations could be completely different than those of ordinary people, so much that they can convince the world it works that way too.
